For Christians, the mystery of Christ's birth remains a source of great joy and peace.  The wonder at how great an event is Christmas sustains us in our mission and desire to be God's people here on earth.  We pray that you all may encounter the mystery of God who is with us, who loves us and who was willing to become an infant child so that we might live in peace forever with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  May the blessings of the Christ Child illumine your hearts and minds and gift you spiritual treasures.

Conversation Days - Report

24/12/2014

At the start of December we began a series of conversations about how we might move forward as a community in terms of our worship, our mission and  our service of God's people in Canton.  We asked if members were more or less satisfied with how we are as Church and what reasons were behind this satisfaction or dissatisfaction.  We then moved on to consider what it is we do well in each of our communities and pondered if it might be possible to do these even better.  Finally, we tried to come up with a list of actions or priorities that we should take seriously as we lead up to the year 2020, the centenary of the Church in Wales.  Below are the results from the small groups that took place on these days.  It is remarkable how much similarity and focus on mission there is.  If you would like to add a comment please email Fr Mark or Fr Phelim.
